Lapping waves and escaping a busy world
Walking on Penrhos Beach, Llyn Peninsula, North Wales, I'm talking about being present and how to escape a busy world.
Listen in to the lapping waves on the shore as I discuss how to use mindfulness techniques to be more present.
The simple technique will help with stress and also anxiety
Once you know this technique it's a beautiful way to fall in love with life again and to be happier.

Being mindful.
Some simple steps to do this is to become more aware of your space.
To become present, to really tune in to what is going on in this moment.
Now is all we have. We worry and get stressed because of what's to come and the future hasn't arrived yet so focus on the now.
Become aware of how your clothes feel on your skin and your breathing. Really start to focus on what's going on in and around your body.
If you're walking along the road, start to become aware of your footsteps on the ground. How each step feels as your feet move in your shoes.
The whole purpose is to simply become aware and to become truly present. To step out of the busyness and to focus on what you are doing this very moment.
When you do this your mind stops being busy because you are tuning in to smaller things. Your focus changes from one of worry, stress and noise to one that's slower and quieter.
