The alarm went off at 4:45am on a very cold winter's morning. I leapt out of bed unlike my normal slow pace.
I was heading to Snowdon to photograph the sunrise. The weather report was good so I knew that today was the best day to be there on Wales' biggest mountain.
As I left the house in the pitch black the sky looked spectacular with all the stars shining bright. With no light pollution it was a wonderful sight.
