It wasn't that long ago when running up a mountain would have been a big no, no but these days after a fair bit of training I can now do it and with a huge smile on my face. In fact, I now find running on the flat not as enjoyable and seem to pick up more injuries when I do. Fell running is all about running style and taking it slow at the start.

Rhiw mountain in North Wales is very close to where I live and is a great and relatively easy run to do when I have a spare 45 minutes.
The views are always wonderful as you can see.
I set out just before sunset and as you can see by the changing light Mother Nature put on a great display

Listen as I describe the scene, the wonderful landscape and a spectacular sunset that changes every minute.
