I'm sharing more of my journey in this latest podcast and this particular episode I'm discussing trust and why I've decided to lean back into fear and stress and just let it go and why you should to.
One of the biggest lessons I've learnt is that you can't control the flow as I talked about in the last post (see here), what will happen will happen. For so long I would battle and spend so much time stressed and disconnected.
But so much more these days I'm leaning back into it and everything is simply flowing. It's so easy and natural. Compared to how it was, I am astounded.
Although I am being tested right now with the imminent house move and sorting out the whole thing and this is causing quite some stress with the amount of work that needs to be done but, I just keep saying to myself that it will be ok, trusting the process and relaxing back into it. I'm moving forward and that's all I can do so there is no point in me worrying about it but at times it's hard.
So where does getting stressed help?
How many times have we sat in traffic and got so stressed out by it and where has this helped us?
How many other situations that by being stressed and filled with anxiety has helped or made the whole experience a mess?
Nowhere in my book.
By breathing and just being more mindful of the moment helps us get us into a better state of mind and relaxes into the flow and then the whole experience works so much better for us.
I was sat in traffic recently and running late for an appointment, I realised there was nothing I could do about it and when I relaxed back into it I started to notice my surroundings and saw places I hadn't seen before. Little alley ways, houses and some interesting architecture.I suddenly started to smile and enjoy the moment
